Our Company

Mack Prototype, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mack Group, Inc, a privately-held corporation that operates 11 manufacturing locations throughout the eastern United States and Mexico. Mack Prototype complements Mack’s growing list of vertically integrated services, including product design, development, custom injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, machining, printed circuit board assembly, complete product assembly, and order fulfillment.

Mack Prototype

Mack Prototype was created when Mack Group acquired Apple Pattern and Compression Engineering in 1999. This acquisition combined rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing for low volume production applications. Today, Mack Prototype supports customers by working hand in hand with them to develop rapid manufacturing solutions based on customer’s budget, timeline, quantity, and quality requirements.

Mack Prototype is headquartered in Gardner, MA, less than an hour west of Boston, MA, with 75,000 square feet of manufacturing space and a team of project managers, engineers, technicians, operators, and assemblers. Mack Prototype has the tools and experience to manufacture and manage any prototype, development, or production project using 3D printing, additive manufacturing, cast urethane molding, CNC machining, injection molding and new product introduction with the new NPI Launch Lab. In addition to being an ISO 13485:2016 certified medical device manufacturer, Mack Prototype also is FDA and ITAR registered.
